About Me

I have been a lover of words for as long as I can remember. From fiction and nonfiction narratives, to essays and articles, writing helps me process the world. Words inspire and motivate me. I write to give this same gift to others.

I love to write transparent, authentic, and relatable narratives from a faith-centered perspective. As a Christian, I wrestle with the brokenness of the world and my own flawed humanness in the light of God. I have come to think of this as wholly normal, and (mostly) healthy. My writing reflects this grappling, and seeks to encourage others toward an honest and reflective faith.

I’m also an author in the making, currently working on my first fiction manuscript. My fiction goals remain centered in my desire to reflect faith honestly. Consequently, I’ve coined my fiction as gently-edgy. Life is messy, after all. Fiction should reflect reality, and truth be told, we’re all in need of a character arc.

I hold a BA in Creative Writing, and am pursuing an MFA in Fiction with Drexel University in the fall of 2024.

I reside in Boise, Idaho with my husband and four children.
